HOT SJOT POP FEST 3 ( POSTER )

Psychedelic poster for Hot Sjot Pop Fest 3 @ Het Bos in Antwerp 11 May 2018 organized by the crazy awesome garage rock punk guys of Hotsjumenas. The past few years they really started a wave in Antwerp by organizing a non stop stream of great garage rock punk gigs. Had a lot of fun drawing this.

Illustrated happy wacky psychedelic monster parade poster for my friends Stijn & Leentje to celebrate the birth of their newborn daughter Lou. Snuck a little Bowie, Zappa and Devo reference in there as they are music lovers.

CHARLEROI, PAYS NOIR - (ILLUSTRATION POSTER)

For the creative market event "6001 is the new 1060" in Charleroi, Belgium I made this poster.

"Le Pays Noir" is French for "The Black Country" which is a reference to the coal industry that made the region very successful in the 19th and 20th century before its downfall. Nowadays there are almost only abandoned factories. It is now a very poor place and even voted "Ugliest City in the World". A group of artists sees huge potential and organises a creative market once or twice a year. For the second time I took part in it and had a blast. So much energy, so many cool artists and wonderful people.

BRUSSEL BROST ( FESTIVAL POSTER )

For Brussels music festival BRUSSEL BROST in september I made this poster. It's a big outdoor party near the river, hence the nautical theme. It features dj's like Feder, Raving George, Bobby Ewing and more.

To annually celebrate the local youth house culture I made a poster illustration for DAG VAN DE JEUGDHUIZEN ( Youth House Day ) in Flanders, Belgium. I love doing stuff like this.

PIZZA NINJA ( JANGTON FILM POSTER SHOW )

PIZZA NINJA. 

A kung fu film about a security guard in Chinatown that starts a pizza delivery service because of his longing for pizza as a midnight snack. Trying to save the kidnapped girl and the old undertaker he becomes part time ninja to fight the evil smartphone mafia that uses coffins to smuggle their goods.

Part of the Film Poster exhibition "The Jangton Brothers". A growing duo-show concept together with illustrator Anton van Steelandt about two mysterious Belgian directors that remained unknown through their career. For this first show we present a selection of giant film posters.

Exhibition running in Mekanik Strip, Antwerp till 2 november. Check it out and let us know what you think !

KURT COBAIN SHOW

I made this poster and comic for the Kurt & the Gang show in London, by Bellykids, that was held last month. Mister Cobain would've been 46 today.

100 BOOK COVER PROJECT

I redesigned the book cover of Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon for the 100 BOOK COVERS TO FIGHT ILLITERACY-PROJECT by the Belgian creative studio Beshart. A very nice project for a good cause, although last minute for me while working on a tv-show.

MUSEUM POTTERY

Fresh stuff for a new zine I'm working on called "Universal Truths", next to my other upcoming zines "Pickle Juice" and "Hamburgers from Hell" (together with supercreative Canadian artist Ohara Hale). Soon to be released !
