Mural for Converse's You're Here-Party

A mural I did on June 17th in an old deserted building in the Antwerp docks for a party hosted by Converse, called You're Here. With extra help from my girlfriend Anneke who was kind enough to feed me cookies and orange juice. Lots of sweaty fun.

The Jonsi Book

My girlfriend and I made a booklet with illustrations for Jonsi, singer of Icelandic band Sigur Ros. While on one of his amazing new concerts in Brussels, Belgium, we could give it to him ( actually I threw it on stage and he picked it up :) . His new show is a mindblowing audiovisual experience.
Check out this vid. From 04:00 it starts to get going and at 06:00 all hell breaks loose !

Tonight I started a new comic strip experiment. Therefore I call it EXPERIMENTA. Basically an ongoing comic without any idea or story. I will let it grow organically page by page. no limit whatsoever. only the format and perhaps colour palette will be the same. Drawn on half an A4 page.

Daneman goes Jango

One of my old comics got picked up by pretty famous American comic artist Daneman. He did a remake of it with his character and I feel honored by the kind sir. Click here for my old version.

Andrew Bird Book

My girlfriend and I made a book for genius musician Andrew Bird from Chicago, of whom we are big fans. We gave it to him and he liked it a lot. He even dedicated a song to us (Imitosis). This is my contribution. The pieces are inspired by titles of his songs.

Storyboard feature

Funny how some things end up on the internet. This little film about advertising and PR-agency "Cayman" features some of my storyboards for a commercial. At exactly 4:30 you can spot them. Thanks to F.Mielants for spotting them.

5th of November I'll be drawing live @ De Nachten. A large event about literature and music. I'll be part of a drawing machine where people can ask for a drawing.

Mural @ Kavka

UPDATE*THIS GOT OVERPAINTED IN MAY 2010-Mural at the local youth centre, Kavka. This is my part. The blue river connects everything and stretches out over the entire hallway. A LOT of fun . Sorry for the bad quality pics, but it gives an idea.
