ZUIDERPERSHUIS ILLUS - STERKE MARCEL

I was asked to do a series of illustrations for Zuiderpershuis, Antwerp. Based on the recent technical drawing I made for them, they chose to focus on one of the characters, a muscled dockworker "Strong Marcel", to add in texts or explanatory sheets.

after a workshop silkscreen printing on t-shirts I made a few of these. It's a reference to the main folk tale and the severed hand of an evil giant of my city, Antwerp.
