Nello & Patrasche - A Dog of Flanders

I made a comic that very briefly tells the story of "Nello & Patrasche, A dog of Flanders". A supersad tale about a boy and his dog that is popular with mostly Asian tourists, but not here. To appear in "This is Antwerp", a funky magazine for tourists visiting Antwerp.

UNICEF AD ANIMATION ( SUPERTOYS )

I did 3 animated clips for a Unicef ad that show some alternative helping methods by a fake toy company, for poor kids in Africa. Go to 1:20 in the video below to click on all three options.

TV SHOW BERGICA ( on ACHT )

Tonight is the premiere of the multicultural comedy show BERGICA I wrote and made together with my 2 best friends and directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. We worked on it for the past 6 months. We all acted in it, they directed the live action, I did the animation and other designs. We all had a lot of fun and learned so much through the experience. It stars some great Belgian actors like Gène Bervoets, Stefaan Degand, Herwig Ilegems, Eric Kloeck,..

"BERGICA" means "Belgium" in Moroccan slang and we found it to be a good name for our crazy universe that is filled with Arab actors and Arab jokes, fake news, a time machine, 2 retarded slapstick Moroccans, fake commercials, a sleazy talking lion puppet, businessmen that use their office chairs as a means of transportation, a lousy genie with a leather jacket and fez hat, 2 american gangsters from the 1930s, fake music videos, a fake literary book show. It's a fast-paced show with short sketches in live action and animation. 16 episodes.

Starting 29th of october on Acht.
Monday till Thursday: 20h30. single episode.
Friday and Saturday: 20h30. compilation of 4 episodes!

CODASYNC #5 - PAN AROYA

For the Fifth time I proudly designed the album cover art for the Antwerp psychedelic rock legends from Codasync. They always push me to do something completely different from what I normally do. I really like that. Go check out their music, they have incredible live shows and the new album kicks major major ass. Recorded in the Vantage Point studios of dEUS.

SABERTOOTH TIGER MURAL WITH PAUL WINDLE IN WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

I made this Sabertooth Tiger Mural last weekend in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with the awesome Paul Windle at his studio and with help from my also awesome girlfriend Anneke Caramin. Great times, although in the end we got eaten by the mural.

100 BOOK COVER PROJECT

I redesigned the book cover of Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon for the 100 BOOK COVERS TO FIGHT ILLITERACY-PROJECT by the Belgian creative studio Beshart. A very nice project for a good cause, although last minute for me while working on a tv-show.
