CODASYNC #5 - PAN AROYA
For the Fifth time I proudly designed the album cover art for the Antwerp psychedelic rock legends from Codasync. They always push me to do something completely different from what I normally do. I really like that. Go check out their music, they have incredible live shows and the new album kicks major major ass. Recorded in the Vantage Point studios of dEUS.

I made this Sabertooth Tiger Mural last weekend in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with the awesome Paul Windle at his studio and with help from my also awesome girlfriend Anneke Caramin. Great times, although in the end we got eaten by the mural.

100 BOOK COVER PROJECT
I redesigned the book cover of Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon for the 100 BOOK COVERS TO FIGHT ILLITERACY-PROJECT by the Belgian creative studio Beshart. A very nice project for a good cause, although last minute for me while working on a tv-show.

HONK HONK GRAFFITI
Last weekend I made my first real graffiti mural in Gent at the "Spaak Graffiti Jam" together with 34 other cool artists like Sam Scarpulla, Resto, Topo, Ligone, Mark Goss, Oli-B, Bue The Warrior,..
The main theme was bicycles. Here you see Superbikeman on a treadmill. Man, that was fun ! But I still have a lot to learn about spray cans..

DJANGO REINHARDT MURAL
I was contacted by the nice folks over at Haute Cuisine to make a mural. Benny and Bernd are designers with a mission. They hold exhibitions in their gallery, sell homemade prints and t-shirts, designer furniture, cool books about coffee or photography, local beer,... Above all they have great opening parties too. They are located in Leuven in a cool old factory building in the docklands. Check for opening hours on their website, but it's usually every weekend.
For the first time I painted my musical hero Django Reinhardt in their gallery shop. Fun times ! This mural has a soundtrack: Minor Swing.

CONVERSE TRIX MURAL
I was contacted again by the wonderful people of CONVERSE to do another mural for them (the fifth already). This time in the backstage of Antwerp concert hall Trix, as they're pimping all the ugly backstages of concert halls. I loved the idea and put my Zombie Cash character on a wall with a subtle Converse-reference. Fun times !

USE-IT MURAL
I made this mural for the nice people of Use-It, in their office in Brussels (Belgium). They make great free alternative maps for young travellers and wanted to spice up their empty walls.
included subjects are couch surfing, hostels, a travelling guitar, skate ramp, skating airplane, the botanical garden of Brussels including evil plants, a non-existent arabian lighthouse, reference to surrealist painter Magritte and his pipe, dinosaur on a skateboard as a reference to famous local street artist "Bonom", extreme camping, a ufo and directions to Paris, London, Berlin and the moon.

MOOSE BLUES
Label for the new local beer by the enthusiastic young guys from "Brouwers Verzet". Moose Blues is a dark beer. It has a complex taste with hints of chocolate and red fruit. 7,5% alcohol.

CODASYNC - AKRONIZE
Awesome and inventive Antwerp rock band CODASYNC has a new album called AKRONIZE ( free to download on their website ! ). For the 4th time already I did the artwork. Again very different from the previous ones, I made a remix of one of my own pieces this year.
2 December 2011 is the release show at Scheld'apen, Antwerp (Belgium). It's bound to be explosive again !

TRASH MONSTERS
I made these Trash Monsters for the city of Antwerp, Belgium. It was printed in large format to decorate garbage cans all over the city to urge people to use them more. 9 other artists participated including the groovy Mark Goss !
